Orlando Regional Medical Center is adding to our team of Rad Techs dedicated to meeting all the imaging needs of our community. ORMC is a patient-focused hospital with an emphasis on teamwork and inclusiveness. We provide exceptional care by treating our patients like family. Our Rad Techs strive for the best image quality and operate multiple specialty equipment (O-ARM, CIOS, OMEGA, ZEIHM) to support various Centers and Institutes.

Position Summary

Schedule: Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging and related procedures.
  • Exercise professional judgment and maintain a demeanor consistent with quality care.
  • Ensure patient safety, proper identification, and accurate documentation.
  • Position patients and operate equipment to produce high-quality images.
  • Assess images for quality and proper annotation.
  • Apply radiation safety principles and participate in quality control.
  • Proficient in contrast medication administration and emergency response.
  • Supervise student technologists and train new staff.
  • Utilize radiology computer systems effectively.
  • Maintain safety and compliance with policies and standards.
Qualifications

Education/Training: Graduate or graduating from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Licensure/Certification:

  • Valid Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist license.
  • ARRT certification.
  • Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
