Job summary

Providence St. Joseph Hospital-Orange is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for per diem day shifts. The technologist will plan, organize and perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures under supervision, ensuring QA and compliance with Federal, State, and JCAHO standards.

Required: nuclear medicine training, NMTCB or NRTNM, California certification, and BLS. Preferred: 1 year of camera/computer experience and pediatric IV administration experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Nuclear Medicine training program.
• National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board or National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures.
• Fulfill all duties required by department quality assurance and applicable standards (Federal, State, JCAHO).
