Job summary

Roslindale is seeking a part-time Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Boston, MA, to provide empathetic patient care and perform radiopharmaceutical procedures under supervision.

The role requires strong knowledge of imaging systems and safety standards; certification in Nuclear Medicine is required, with opportunities to work with PET/SPECT imaging and multidisciplinary teams in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with Nuclear Medicine Technology certificate from an accredited program.
• Alternate pathway: Associate degree plus 2 years experience in Nuclear Medicine.
• Experience in Molecular/Nuclear Imaging (SPECT/CT/PET/MR/Optical fusion) preferred.
• Must be certified on hire and maintain NMTCB/ARRT registrations with an advanced certification.
• Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License required.
• BLS/CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Empathetic and instructional approach to patient contact, care and monitoring.
• Procurement, preparation, quality control, dispensing, dose calibration, administration and disposal of radiopharmaceuticals.
• Administration of pharmaceuticals including adjunct oral and IV medications and contrast under supervision.
• Perform quality control procedures and operate imaging, laboratory and computer instrumentation.
• Maintain safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to support patient care.
