Job summary

The Skills Coalition in Pittsfield, MA is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diverse NM procedures with independent judgment. Responsibilities include operating PACS/HIS/RIS systems, adhering to infection control, and participating in mandatory education. Hours may vary to meet department needs.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an AMA approved Nuclear Medicine Program.
• Massachusetts Radiology License before starting.
• ARRT(N)/NMTCB certification required (or equivalent).
• Minimum of student training in Nuclear Medicine.
• Ability to function independently in a high-stress environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of technical Nuclear Medicine procedures with judgment and ingenuity.
• Apply Nuclear Medicine skills to facilitate diagnosis.
• May be assigned independent responsibilities by Lead Technologist or Operations Manager.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and infection control per policies.
• Operate and troubleshoot PACS, HIS and RIS systems.
• Maintain department competencies and complete mandatory education.
