Job summary

Adventist Health Glendale is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to administer radiopharmaceuticals and intravenous radiopharmaceuticals for imaging and treatment. The role requires a diploma/certificate in Nuclear Medicine or a BS in nuclear medicine technology, and state licensure in CA/HI with ARRT/NMTCB certification and venipuncture qualifications.

Responsibilities include coordinating patient flow, ensuring procedure quality control, and documenting all materials and surveys.

Qualifications

• Diploma/certificate from an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine: Required
• Bachelor's Degree in nuclear medicine technology or equivalent: Required

Responsibilities

• Prepares, administers, and measures radioactive isotopes in therapeutic, diagnostic, and tracer studies using a variety of radioisotope equipment.
• Performs screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation.
• Documents all pertinent information regarding radioactive materials and surveys in accordance with departmental procedures.
• Obtains pertinent patient information and disseminates subsequent patient preparation instructions to patient care areas.
