Job summary

Adventist Health Glendale is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to administer radiopharmaceuticals intravenously and perform imaging and diagnostic procedures. You will coordinate patient flow and ensure procedure quality control in a 515-bed hospital environment near Burbank and Pasadena, with Magnet designation for nursing excellence.

Required education includes a diploma/certificate in Nuclear Medicine, with a CA license and ARRT/NMTCB certification as applicable.

Qualifications

• Diploma/certificate from an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in nuclear medicine technology or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, administers, and measures radioactive isotopes in therapeutic, diagnostic, and tracer studies using radiophotope equipment.
• Prepares stock solutions of radioactive materials and calculates doses to be administered by radiologists.
• Subjects patients to radiation and conducts related lab procedures as per policy.
• Documents all pertinent information regarding radioactive materials and surveys per department procedures.
