Job summary

Adventist Health Glendale is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to administer radiopharmaceuticals and perform diagnostic imaging procedures in a busy hospital setting. Responsibilities include coordinating patient flow, maintaining procedure quality control, and documenting activity in accordance with departmental policies.

CA licensure and ARRT/NMTCB certification are required, with venipuncture certification also required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Nuclear Medicine is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers radiopharmaceuticals and measures radioactive isotopes using professional techniques.
• Performs diagnostic imaging and screening procedures.
• Documents all pertinent information regarding radioactive materials and surveys in accordance with departmental procedures.
• Maintains safety, quality control, and radiation safety standards.
• Coordinates patient flow and communicates preparation instructions to care areas.
