Job summary

Larkin Community Hospital South Miami Campus is seeking a qualified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our Nuclear Medicine Department. You will perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures, prepare radiopharmaceuticals, and operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.

Ideal candidates will have an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program, Florida licensure, CNMT or RT(N) certification, and strong safety and teamwork skills to support

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or Radiologic Technology from an accredited institution is required.
• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology, Radiologic Sciences, or related healthcare field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures per physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals.
• Operate specialized nuclear medicine imaging equipment and obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Conduct quality-control procedures and ensure radiation safety.
• Provide safe, professional patient care and collaborate with physicians, nurses, radiologists and other team members.

Education

Associate degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or Radiologic Technology

Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field (preferred)

Graduate of accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
