Job summary

Miami Neuroscience Institute Baptist Health South Florida seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform nuclear medicine procedures, prepare radiopharmaceuticals, and produce diagnostic-quality images. The role requires strict adherence to ALARA and safety regulations and coordination of patient flow across PET/NucMed scanners.

Candidate must hold Florida license in Nuclear Medicine, ARRT NM or CNMT, and AHA BLS current.

Qualifications

• Florida State License in Nuclear Medicine in good standing.
• ARRT (NM) or CNMT certification required.
• AHA BLS - active and in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine examinations and administer radiopharmaceutical doses.
• Coordinate patient flow to maximize scanner utilization.
• Enter and transmit patient information into PACS promptly.
• Maintain equipment and clean scan rooms, inventory, and supplies.
• Ensure correct examination is ordered and review prior to imaging.
