Job summary

Heart South is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our Imaging Services team in Alabaster, AL. This full-time role involves performing diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures while upholding high imaging quality, patient safety, and compassionate care.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and patient-focused, committed to imaging excellence and radiation safety as part of Baptist Health Medical Group.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• Experience not required, but must have working knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures, equipment operation and radiation safety principles.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures, including nuclear medicine studies, SPECT/SPECT-CT imaging, and PET imaging as assigned.
• Prepare, calculate, and administer radiopharmaceutical doses in accordance with regulations.
• Process, enhance, and document images for physician interpretation and ensure patient safety and comfort.
