Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; AMA-approved nuclear medicine program preferred
• NMTCB or ARRT Certification required within six months of hire
• ISDH licensure required

Responsibilities

• Operates nuclear medicine imaging and counting equipment to perform patient examinations
• Produces information for physicians to aid diagnosis
• Performs routine nuclear medicine imaging procedures, injections, and studies
• Prepares radiopharmaceuticals using sterile techniques
• Maintains records for patients, studies, and radiopharmaceuticals
• Trains and precepts students and new staff
