Brown University Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform routine clinical studies and support daily operations of the Nuclear Medicine Program at The Miriam Hospital in Providence, RI. The role emphasizes adult and geriatric care, safety, and precise record-keeping.

Responsibilities include operating gamma cameras and related devices, processing and qualifying images in PACS, and assisting radiologists.

Qualifications

• Formal training in an approved School of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Current license to practice in Rhode Island.
• ARRT or CNMT certification.

Responsabilités

• Schedule and perform patient studies per department procedures.
• Operate gamma cameras, dose calibrator, well counter and related equipment.
• Process images and ensure correct codes are billed.
• Perform daily quality assurance on imaging and monitoring instruments.
• Maintain nuclear medicine records and safety procedures.
• Assist with training staff and students.
