Endeavor Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Vernon Hills to perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures and operate imaging units. You will guide patients through examinations, explain procedures, and ensure safe positioning and handling throughout the process.

Responsibilities include monitoring patient status, reporting changes to the Radiologist, and administering radioisotopes with accurate dosages while documenting doses per policy.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program with thorough knowledge of radioisotopes.
• Current ARRT registration or NMTCB certification and CPR.
• Current Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) license.
• Knowledge of proper body mechanics and safe patient handling.

Responsabilidades

• Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures and operate nuclear medicine units.
• Explain examination procedures to patients and provide necessary instructions.
• Assist patients from wheelchairs and stretchers onto and off the imaging table, positioning them for examinations.
• Monitor patients' conditions frequently and report any critical changes to the Radiologist.
• Administer the correct radioisotope with proper dosage and document dosages per policy.
