Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for our Vernon Hills, IL location. This is a full-time role with daytime hours and on-site work, including occasional on-call shifts.

You will perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures, explain procedures to patients, assist with patient positioning, monitor during exams, and administer radioisotopes per policy, documenting dosages to comply with IEMA regulations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program with knowledge of radioisotopes.
• Current ARRT registration and CPR or NMTCB certification.
• Illinois IEMA license required.
• Knowledge of proper body mechanics.
• Experience in patient positioning and handling.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures and operate nuclear medicine units.
• Explain examination procedures to patients and provide instructions.
• Assist patients from wheelchairs onto imaging tables and position them for examinations.
• Monitor patients during Nuclear Medicine procedures and report changes to the Radiologist.
• Administer radioisotopes with correct dosage and document dosages per IEMA regulations.
