Job summary

You will calibrate radiopharmaceuticals, manage dose calculations, and monitor safety while supporting the clinical ladder and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification within 18 months of employment.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety and protection.
• Experience with image guidance and radiopharmaceutical preparation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and participate in in vivo and in vitro nuclear medicine procedures.
• Calibrate radiopharmaceuticals and devices; review calibration data for trends.
• Evaluate image quality and process SPECT data for interpretation.
• Administer thyroid therapy under supervision and ensure dose accuracy.
• Maintain inventory, records for radiopharmaceutical handling and disposal.
• Provide instruction to trainees and assist with new employee training.
• Support quality assurance and safety protocols in the department.
