Job summary

Duke Raleigh Hospital, part of Duke Health, is seeking a Nuclear Medicine technologist to support in vivo/in vitro studies and radiopharmaceutical handling with imaging duties. The role requires ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certification within 18 months and 2+ years of NM technologist experience (4+ for higher levels).

Qualifications

• Graduate or completion of program that meets eligibility requirements for registry/certification.
• ARRT (N) and/or NMTCB certification within 18 months of employment.
• Level II minimum of two years' experience as a Nuclear Medicine technologist; Level III minimum of four years in specialty modality.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and participate in in vivo and in vitro procedures; operate imaging devices and radiation detection equipment.
• Calibrate and prepare radiopharmaceutical materials for patient administration and review calibration data for instrument performance.
• Evaluate image quality and process data for functional curves and SPECT reconstructions.
• Provide instruction and training to radiologic technology staff and students; assist in training new employees.
