Job summary

Doctors Hospital of Augusta, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (PRN) to join the imaging team. You will prepare radiopharmaceuticals, calibrate equipment, and perform diagnostic and therapeutic studies under physician direction.

The role requires CMA-accredited radiologic training, CNMT/NMT or ARRT credentials, and 1–3 years of experience preferred. Commitment to radiation safety and patient care across age groups is essential.

Qualifications

• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• CNMT, NMT, ARRT-R, or ARRT-N certification as applicable.
• 1–3 years of experience preferred.
• Graduate of an AMA-accredited program with a certificate or degree in Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine Technology.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, measure, and administer radiopharmaceuticals in diagnostic and therapeutic studies.
• Calibrate equipment used for imaging and therapy.
• Perform diagnostic studies using scanners or scintillation cameras as prescribed by physician.
• Administer therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals under physician direction.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols in handling radioactive materials.
• Provide care for patient age ranges from birth to geriatric as applicable.
