Job summary

UC Health's West Chester Hospital is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for the first shift. You will perform diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine procedures, operate scintillation/PET imaging equipment, and ensure strict radiation safety and quality control in a leading Level III Trauma Center.

The role requires completion of a collegiate Nuclear Medicine Program with NMTCB Certification, a state radiologic license, BLS within 30 days, and 1–2 years of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of a collegiate Nuclear Medicine Program with NMTCB Certification.
• Ohio Dept of Health Radiologic License (Nuclear Medicine) and ARRT (N) or NMTCB Certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire; 1–2 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex diagnostic studies (imaging and non-imaging) and therapeutic procedures.
• Operate imaging equipment (scintillation/PET cameras and related equipment) and ensure quality control.
• Perform dose calculations, preparation and administration of radiopharmaceuticals.
• Monitor radiation safety and report exposures or spills to supervisor.
