Job summary

Beacon Health System is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to administer radiopharmaceuticals, operate imaging equipment, and ensure quality patient care in a hospital radiology setting.

The role requires ARRT (N) or CNMT certification, Indiana licensure, and knowledge of NRC regulations. A new graduate with board-completion within six months is acceptable, with up to one year of NM experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Board certification from ARRT (N), CNMT (N), or Indiana State Department of Health.
• New graduate must pass board certification within six months of graduation date.
• Up to one year experience as Nuclear Medicine Technologist preferred.
• Must have basic knowledge of pharmaceutical preparation, computer acquisition and theory of nuclear medicine.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and administers radiopharmaceutical to achieve optimal exam.
• Operates computers and scanning equipment to obtain images as approved by radiologist.
• Responsible for emergency call and responds in a timely manner.
• Responsible for completing therapies and consultations.
