Qualifications

  • Graduate of a Medical Imaging Program.
  • ARRT or NMTCB Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification required within 6 months of hire.
  • BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
  • State license requirements as applicable (MD/OH/PA/VA/WV).
  • Background check as required by state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Performs full range of nuclear medicine diagnostic imaging and therapeutic procedures.
  • Minimizes radiation exposure per policy and regulatory guidelines.
  • Plans and performs imaging procedures meeting department standards.
  • Reports equipment failures promptly to ensure service continuity.
  • Interacts with patients and staff to support comfort and safety.
  • May serve as instructor in radiology education programs.
