Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Tech to perform imaging using radiopharmaceuticals and nuclear medicine equipment, ensuring safe handling of materials and accurate diagnostics.

The role requires ARRT or NMTCB certification (or equivalent), BLS, and might prefer state licensure. A 1-year experience in nuclear medicine is preferred, with rotation of 10-hour shifts as part of a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification is required or NMTCB certification.
• State licensure preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• 1 year nuclear medicine experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees handling of all radioactive materials and related safety measures.
• Schedules exams and reviews images to ensure diagnostic quality.
• Initiates IV access and administers medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.
