Job summary

Centralus Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine procedures across Arnot Health locations in NY and PA. You will report to the Supervisor of Nuclear Medicine and play a key part in delivering accurate, safe, and compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities include performing exams, preparing radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring safety, coordinating with Radiologists, and, when assigned, operating a mobile van to physician offices.

Qualifications

• Certified or certification-eligible in Nuclear Medicine through NMTCB or ARRT.
• Formal 2- or 4-year degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology preferred.
• Must be eligible for New York State Nuclear Medicine licensure.
• Valid driver's license for mobile assignments.
• One year of experience preferred; new graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Perform Nuclear Medicine and Nuclear Cardiology exams.
• Review physician orders for accuracy and ensure patient readiness.
• Prepare radiopharmaceuticals and injections; IV insertion when needed.
• Acquire and process images using gamma cameras and related systems.
• Operate and troubleshoot PACS, EMR and NM systems.
• Schedule patients and coordinate with Radiopharmacy.
• Manage radiopharmaceutical kits and dosages; maintain sterile technique.
