Job summary

The Nuclear Medicine technologist at Wellstar Health System assists with providing safe, age-appropriate care by performing exams and operating NM equipment according to department procedures.

You will set up equipment, position patients, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and staff. Requires AMA approved NM program graduate, ARRT Nuclear Technology or CNMT, and 1 year NM clinical experience; BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved Nuclear Medicine Program.
• Minimum 1 year NM experience in clinical setting.
• ARRT-N or CNMT certification required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, age-appropriate patient care and perform exams per department procedures.
• Prepare and position patients for procedures; set up NM equipment.
• Maintain infection control and equipment readiness; ensure quality imaging.
• Communicate findings and coordinate with physicians and staff; document procedures.
