Job summary
Great River Health in West Burlington, IA, seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to prepare, administer, and image radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic studies using PET/CT and gamma cameras.
The role requires an AA in Nuclear Medicine Technology and ARRT NM or NMTCB certification, with 1–3 years of experience, and compliance with safety standards. The position offers day shift and a competitive compensation package with benefits.
Qualifications
- AA in Nuclear Medicine Technology is required.
- 1–3 years of training/experience in Nuclear Medicine.
- ARRT NM or NMTCB certification or IDPH licensure required.
- Dependent Adult Abuse & Child Abuse reporting are required upon hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider required upon hire.
Responsibilities
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals intravenously under physician supervision.
- Use gamma camera or PET/CT to map radiopharmaceutical distribution.
- Record radiation doses and radiopharmaceutical use per physician prescription.
- Perform cardiac and other functional studies with computer support.
- Conduct quality control checks on Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT equipment.
