Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience performing nuclear medicine procedures in a clinical or hospital setting.
• 2-4 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist as applicable by state required.
• Nuclear Medicine Tech certifications (ARDMS/ARRT/NMTCB) and BCLS required.

Responsibilities

• Performs nuclear medicine imaging procedures and therapies per protocols and physician orders.
• Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals intravenously or orally with safety compliance.
• Operates and calibrates imaging equipment (gamma cameras, PET scanners) and maintains QC.
• Documents procedures and patient interactions in the EMR with accuracy and compliance.
• Maintains radiation safety practices and responds to isotope spills per RSO guidelines.
