Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for the West Hospital location. The role includes performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures with radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring proper patient positioning, and recording high-quality images.

Full-time hours are Mon-Fri 7:30am-4:00pm with no holidays, weekends, or on-call duties. Requirements include 0-3 years experience, BLS through the AHA, Indiana ISDH license, and board eligibility with credentialing pursued within 6

Qualifications

0-3 years of relevant experience.
Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
Must obtain credential in Nuclear Medicine within 6 months of hire if board eligible.
If performing SPECT/CT or PET/CT, CT certification within 18 months.
Requires current Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) license as Nuclear Medicine Technologist.

Responsibilities

Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures involving radiopharmaceuticals to perform body function studies, organ imaging, and analyze biologic specimens.
Records diagnostic images and positions patients correctly in order to record requested images.
Follows physician's instructions and ensures compliance with hospital, state and federal policies on radiopharmaceutical handling.
