Job summary

Saint Mary’s Health Network, a member of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for Per Diem shifts in Reno, Nevada. The role involves working with radiology to provide quality imaging, supporting the radiologist and ensuring timely processing and transmission of images to PACS.

Qualified candidates will have NMTCB/ARRT(N) eligibility or active certification, a state license, and a current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• 1. One year of acute, clinical radiology experience is preferred.
• 2. Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.
• 3. At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist preferred
• 4. Current BLS (AHA) certificate required.
• 5. Minimum requirement-Registry eligible and within 90 days of hire date accredited, or actively accredited by the NMTCB and/or ARRT (N) required.
• 6. Must complete an accredited school of study in Nuclear Medicine
• 7. State license required

Responsibilities

• The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and is responsible for providing quality imaging.
• The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works in support of the Radiologist, providing assistance in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Responsible for processing and transmission of Images to PACS.
