Saint Mary’s Health Network in Reno, NV is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our award-winning team. You will perform diagnostic imaging, assist Radiologists, and ensure quality of NM procedures in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Per diem schedule, days shift, and involvement with PACS imaging and image transmission. Must maintain state license and NMTCB/ARRT eligibility. Join a renowned health system committed to quality, compassion and community.

Qualifications

  • One year of acute, clinical radiology experience preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology required.
  • At least one year as nuclear medicine technologist preferred.
  • Current BLS (AHA) certificate required.
  • Registry eligible within 90 days of hire; NMTCB/ARRT(N) accreditation preferred.
  • Must complete an accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
  • State license required.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to provide quality imaging.
  • Support Radiologist; assist in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • Process and transmit images to PACS.

Responsibilities

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and is responsible for providing quality imaging. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works in support of the Radiologist, providing assistance in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Responsible for processing and transmission of Images to PACS.

Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
  • One year of acute, clinical radiology experience is preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.
  • At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist preferred
  • Current BLS (AHA) certificate required.
  • Minimum requirement-Registry eligible and within 90 days of hire date accredited, or actively accredited by the NMTCB and/or ARRT (N) required.
  • Must complete an accredited school of study in Nuclear Medicine
  • State license required
