HCA Florida South Shore Hospital is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a part-time position in Florida. You will perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radiopharmaceuticals with care, compassion, and a patient‑centered approach.

You will work closely with the imaging team to conduct scans, prepare isotopes, administer dosages, position patients, and document results, while ensuring safety and quality in all procedures.

• Associate degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology from AMA-approved program.

Responsibilities

• You will use radioactive isotopes to perform organ and body scans.
• You will prepare radioactive isotopes for administration to patients per physician orders.
• You may administer and record dosages as well.
• You will perform diagnostic studies on patients using scanners or scintillation cameras to detect radiation and produce images.
• You will position patients and adjust immobilization devices.
• You will explain procedures to patients and address concerns.
• You will monitor, record and communicate utilizing computerized documentation.
• You may assist with transporting patients.
