Qualifications

• Completion of an AMA approved radiologic technologist training program.
• National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board or National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification.
• 1 year experience in nuclear medicine preferred; not required if a recent graduate from an approved technician training program.
• 6 months experience in the last year or 2 years full-time with a limited absence from nuclear medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide health care services using radionuclides to aid diagnosis and treatment.
• Perform a wide variety of nuclear medicine procedures and computer processing of data.
• Produce images for interpretation by a licensed practitioner.
• Apply professional judgment and uphold medical ethics in service delivery.
