Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide safe, age-appropriate imaging services in a busy department. You will perform a wide range of procedures, prepare patients, and ensure quality studies while maintaining patient dignity and comfort.

The role offers a Monday-Friday day schedule (7:30a-4p), a sign-on bonus of up to $20,000, and relocation assistance for eligible candidates. Wellstar emphasizes education and career progression through its CareerCare program.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved Nuclear Medicine program.
• Minimum 1 year of NM clinical experience.
• ARRT-N or CNMT certification required; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform NM exams per department procedures and ensure patient safety.
• Prepare and position patients and equipment for procedures.
• Verify patient identity and orders; maintain sterile technique.
• Provide patient education and communicate results as appropriate.
• Maintain equipment, troubleshooting and reporting issues promptly.
