Job summary

You will follow ALARA and safety regulations and coordinate with the PET/CT team.

The role requires Florida state license in Nuclear Medicine, ARRT NM or CNMT, and AHA BLS. Prior pediatric experience preferred; strong teamwork and patient communication are essential.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology from an accredited program.
  • One year pediatric nuclear medicine experience preferred.
  • Proficient with common computer applications.
  • Strong communication with patients, families, and staff.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Measures radioactive dosage prescriptions and monitors isotope usage.
  • Coordinates patient flow to maximize PET/CT scanner utilization.
  • Explains procedures to patients and enters data into PACS.
  • Maintains equipment cleanliness and inventory; orders supplies.
  • Ensures correct examinations are ordered and reviewed before exams.
  • Adheres to ALARA and safety policies in all procedures.
  • Communicates with Radiologist for prompt image review.
