Job summary

University Hospitals in Elyria, OH is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform specialized imaging exams using radiopharmaceuticals. You will operate imaging systems, monitor patients, and ensure radiation safety while delivering compassionate care.

Qualifications include AMA-approved Nuclear Medicine program, OH state licensure, ARRT-N or NMTCB certification upon hire, BLS, and 1+ year preferred experience. Excellent organization and computer skills required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Graduate of an AMA approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform Nuclear Medicine exams accurately, timely and safely.
• Maintain quality control on Nuclear Equipment.
• Comply with state and federal agencies and safety guidelines.
• Ensure correct billing codes in RIS/EMR and patient sheets.
• Provide age-specific patient care from neonates to geriatrics.
• Maintain licensure and continuing education requirements.
• Collaborate with staff to complete assignments professionally.
