Job summary

University Hospitals in Beachwood, OH, is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform imaging procedures using radiopharmaceuticals, operate imaging devices, monitor patients, and ensure radiation safety compliance.

Responsibilities include quality control, regulatory compliance, accurate billing, and collaboration with the Imaging team to deliver patient-centered care across all ages. Ohio licensure, ARRt/临? required upon hire, and BLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate effective organizational, written and oral communication skills and knowledge of all various equipment.
• Proficient in computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Accurately, timely, and efficiently performs moderate and highly complex Nuclear Medicine patient exams & provides patient care within the scope of Nuclear Medicine
• Maintains Quality Control on Nuclear Equipment
• Maintains Compliance with State and Federal Agencies
• Follows hospital and department guidelines for patient identification and safety
• Maintains licensure and continuing education requirements
• Supports learning environment of the Hospital and Imaging department
• Enters and completes correct billing codes in RIS and patient billing sheets
• Collaborates with staff to complete assignments professionally
• Delivers age-specific care from neonates to geriatrics
• Follows directions to maintain department readiness per DNV standards
• Enters billing codes in EMR
