Job summary

Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging as directed by providers and radiologists, following safety and procedural policies. You will interact with patients, document procedures, and ensure proper data transfer.

Requirements include graduation from NM technology or radiologic technology programs, NMTCB certification (or registry eligibility with within 1 year), and BLS per 1-year hire targets.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Perform procedures per physician orders and department guidelines.
• Identify patients with two identifiers.
• Accurately document all aspects of the procedure.
• Maintain safe patient environment in the procedure area.
• Safely manage and administer radioactive materials per policy.
• Communicate with supervisor and team; ensure data transfer to systems.
