*Job description-*
Nuclear Medicine Technologist - 40 hours/week; DAYS; M-F 8:00a- 4:30p
Performs diagnostic Nuclear Medicine procedures / Therapies on adult and geriatric patients on designated areas of the body as required by Authorized User. Types of diagnostic exams: Nuclear Medicine stress tests, Hida scans, Gastric emptying exams, Bone scans, Thyroid uptake & scan, Thyroid Therapy, Parathyroid exams, Mag 3 Renal scans, and Sentinel node scans. Successful graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program. ARRT or CNMT certification, MA state license required, and BLS.
*Duties*
* Perform nuclear medicine procedures, including the preparation and administration of radiopharmaceuticals.
* Conduct diagnostic evaluations using various imaging techniques, ensuring high-quality images are obtained.
* Collaborate with physicians to interpret scan results and provide detailed reports.
* Maintain knowledge of aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and compliance with health regulations.
* Educate patients on procedures, addressing any questions or concerns they may have prior to testing.
* Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and functioning correctly.
* Stay updated on advancements in nuclear medicine technology and practices.
*Experience*
* Proven experience in nuclear medicine technology or a related field is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and medical imaging techniques is essential.
* Familiarity with PET scan procedures and diagnostic evaluation methods is highly desirable.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare professionals alike.

Pay: $3,300.00 - $3,308.00 per week
