Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
  • Arizona Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) certification required.

Job description

A well-established hospital near Tucson, Arizona is seeking full-time, permanent Nuclear Medicine Technologists to join their team!

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Description:

  1. Full-time, direct hire opportunity
  2. Monday to Friday schedule, day shift
  3. On-call may be required
  4. Supportive radiology leadership and administration team
  5. Sign-on bonus offered

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing nuclear medicine procedures, including organ imaging and function studies
  • Assisting physicians in therapeutic use of radioisotopes
  • Administering isotope dosages accurately following department procedures
  • Recording dosages administered and observing patients during procedures
  • Reporting any unusual occurrences to appropriate personnel

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
  • One (1) year of nuclear medicine experience preferred but not required
  • Arizona Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) certification and certification from NMTCB or ARRT-N
