Job Summary:
The nuclear Medicine technologist provides healthcare services using radionuclides to assist in diagnosis and treatment. They possess advanced skills to perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures, data processing, and technical tasks necessary for image production for interpretation by, or at the request of, a licensed practitioner. They exercise professional judgment and maintain ethical standards while providing appropriate care essential for successful procedures.
Compensation:
This position offers a base pay range of $89,523.00/yr - $141,690.00/yr. Additionally, a $10,000 hiring bonus is available for eligible external hires meeting specific qualifications and conditions.
Required Qualifications:
- Completion of an AMA-approved radiologic technologist training program.
- Certification as a National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board upon hire, or
- National Registered Technologist in Nuclear Medicine Technology upon hire.
- California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification upon hire.
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
- At least 6 months of recent experience or a minimum of 2 years full-time experience with no more than 1 year of absence from nuclear medicine.
Preferred Qualifications:
- One year of experience in nuclear medicine (not required if recent graduate from an approved technician training program).
