Job Summary

Requirements

• At least 2 years of post-program graduate experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association
• California State Certified Tech Nuclear Medicine (all scopes including venipuncture)

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate cameras that detect and map radioactive drugs to create diagnostic images
• Position patients and select anatomic and technical factors accurately
• Order, prepare, administer, and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals according to protocols
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines
• Ensure high-quality images and documentation are promptly submitted to PACS
• Ensure equipment is functioning properly and report malfunctions
• Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly department
