Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic and/or Nuclear Medicine Technology program required.
  • Current applicable state license as a Radiologic Technologist is necessary.

Responsibilities

Summary:

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist role is responsible for preparing and performing all nuclear diagnostic studies. Also responsible for maintaining the nuclear medicine lab while ensuring the highest standards of patient care and compliance with clinical protocols and regulatory requirements.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
  1. Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic and/or Nuclear Medicine Technology program required.
  2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state license as a Radiologic Technologist. Credentialed by ARRT or NMTCB. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
  3. Experience: One year of experience in Nuclear Medicine preferred. Basic IV skills preferred.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements: N/A
