Summary:

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for preparing and performing all nuclear diagnostic studies. They are also responsible for maintaining the nuclear medicine lab while ensuring the highest standards of patient care and adherence to clinical protocols and regulatory requirements.


Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
  1. Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic and/or Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
  2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state license as a Radiologic Technologist. Credentialed by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB). Current BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
  3. Experience: At least one year of experience in Nuclear Medicine preferred. Basic IV skills preferred.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements: Not applicable.
