HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform nuclear medicine procedures and produce diagnostic images for physician interpretation. You will operate specialized equipment, handle radiopharmaceuticals, and ensure patient safety following ALARA standards.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program, ARRT NM or NMTCB certification, Florida licensure, and at least 1 year of related experience.

Qualifications

• CPR/BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program is required.
• ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification required.
• State of Florida HRS Licensure as Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
• Minimum 1 year of related experience.

Responsabilités

• Provides care for patients requiring Nuclear Medicine procedures.
• Operates equipment to measure radiation and produce images for physician interpretation.
• Uses radiopharmaceuticals safely and adheres to ALARA standards.
• Doses patients appropriately and ensures safe handling of radioactive materials.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The days and shift for this position is: Monday, 7a-5p and Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 9a- 5p

Provides care for patients requiring Nuclear Medicine procedures. Performs all duties directly involved with proceduresutilizingradioactive isotopes for diagnostic and some therapeutic purposesin accordance withALARA standards. Operates equipmentutilizedto measure radiation, produce images, quantify physiologic responses, and relay images and measurements to the physician for interpretation. Employs practices and techniques to ensure the safe handling of radioactive materials, especially when dosing patients with radiopharmaceuticals (both orally and intravenously) as prescribed and authorized by the responsible licensed physician.

What qualifications will you need?

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within30 daysof employment start date
• Graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine programisrequired
• Nuclear Med certification with American Registry of Radiologic TechnologistsARRT (NM)orCertification with theNuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)isrequired
• State of Florida HRS Licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
• 1 year of related experience
