Job summary

HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital is seeking a qualified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic imaging using radiopharmaceuticals under the Medical Director's guidance.

You'll conduct examinations on patients from pediatric to geriatric, ensure patient safety, and may serve as an instructor in areas of competence as assigned. Emphasis on quality patient care and teamwork within our Level II trauma center.

Qualifications

• CNMT or ARRT-N certification required.
• BCLS certification required or instructor eligibility within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine procedures with independence and clinical judgment.
• Operate radiopharmaceutical equipment for diagnosis and treatment.
• Maintain patient safety across pediatric to geriatric populations.
• May serve as an instructor in areas of specific competence.
• Collaborate with Medical Director to prioritize patient care.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Under the direction of the Medical Director, performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative in the utilization of radioinuclides for the diagnosis and treatment of disease in humans. Assumes responsibility for designated areas of procedures and/or may be assigned duties as an instructor in areas of specific competence. Recognized the purpose of employment is to prioritize the patient as number one, and to put forth the utmost quality as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs examinations on patients of various ages from pediatric to geriatric.

What qualifications you will need:

• Vocational School Graduate
• (CNMT) Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist, or (ARRT-N) Nuclear Medicine Technology
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
