110,000 to $150,000 + Full Benefits + Bonus

Relocation Assistance Available

Reporting to the Nuclear Medicine Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for performing the full range of in vivo and in vitro Nuclear Medicine procedures using radiopharmaceuticals and related chemicals. This includes providing quality patient care, ensuring timely throughput, and performing exams. Operates and performs quality control on stationary and portable scintillation equipment such as gamma cameras, Geiger-Mueller counters, well counters, dose calibration devices, and ancillary equipment. Performs PET, Nuc Med, and CT diagnostic studies on PET/CT scanners, including injection of CT contrast media, image acquisition, and reformatting. Responsible for performing scans and procedures necessary for scanner qualification in research trials. Creates and programs study-specific protocols, including administration, imaging, and reformatting, under supervision. Must be available for on-call and callback duties.

Required Qualifications :

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the health system
  • Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
  • Demonstrates customer service skills suitable for the role
  • Knowledge of state regulatory radiation safety practices and ALARA principles
  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program
  • Effective communication skills in English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Ability to provide on-call/callback service as needed
  • Minimum one year of full-time experience as a CNMT
  • Possesses the necessary skills, knowledge, and abilities for the duties
  • Current BLS certification
  • Active California CNMT license
  • Active NMTCB and/or AART (N) licensure for Nuclear Medicine

Preferred Qualifications :

  • At least one year of full-time experience performing Nuclear Medicine procedures
  • Knowledge of university and medical center policies, procedures, and organizational structure

Job Type : Full-time

Salary : $110,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
