The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Medical Group West FL
The role you’ll contribute:
This position contributes to the mission and goals of the department by providing professional quality Nuclear medicine imaging services in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
· Always uses two types of patient identifiers (name and date of birth) matched with arm band
· Performs quality CT scan studies upon orders of licensed practitioner
· Verifies physician order prior to scanning
· Checks with physician, floor RN, Radiologist if clarification of orders are needed
· Assures radiation safety for patients and associates
· Utilizes lead shielding as provided by the facility
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications :
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Graduate of JCERT approved Nuclear Medicine program
· Current Florida license in Nuclear Medicine
· CNMT - Certified Nuclear Med Tech
· ( N) ARDMS or ARRT - Nuclear Med Tech
