Job summary

UP Health System Marquette is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist II to join our team. This 1.0 FTE, 40-hour week position offers varied shifts and the opportunity to administer radiopharmaceuticals for patient imaging and therapy.

You will process data, enhance digital images, provide images and patient information for diagnostic or therapeutic procedures, and help ensure the highest standards of quality and safety. A sign-on bonus of $7,500 is available for eligible external candidates.

Qualifications

• Must have AMA approved Nuclear Medicine program.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• BLS Healthcare Provider (BLS-HCP) certification.
• NMTCB or ARRT-N Nuclear certification required or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Administers radiopharmaceuticals and medications for patient imaging and therapeutic procedures.
• Processes data and enhances digital images using advanced computer technology.
• Provides images, data analysis and patient information for diagnostic interpretation or therapeutic procedures.
• Evaluates images to determine the technical quality and calibration of instrumentation.
• Processes the images for radiologist review.

What we're looking for:

• Graduated from AMA approved Nuclear Medicine program

• Associate's degree (Preferred)

• Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)

• Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologist- Nuclear (ARRT-N)
