A leading staffing agency is seeking a qualified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform a variety of diagnostic studies and ensure quality patient care. The role requires certifications and expertise in Nuclear Medicine, as well as effective communication and customer service skills. 110,000 to $150,000 + Full Benefits + Bonus

Reporting to the Nuclear Medicine Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for performing the full range of in vivo and in vitro Nuclear Medicine procedures utilizing radiopharmaceuticals and related chemical substances. Responsibilities include providing quality patient care, ensuring timely throughput of patients, and performing their exams. Operates and performs quality control on stationary and portable scintillation equipment including gamma cameras, Geiger-Mueller counters, well counters, dose calibration devices, and ancillary equipment. Performs PET, Nuc Med, and CT diagnostic studies on PET/CT scanners, including injection of CT Contrast Media, image acquisition, and reformatting. Also responsible for performing scans and procedures to support scanner qualification for research trials, creating and programming study-specific protocols under supervision.
