Qualifications

• Associate Degree required; certification as CNMT or NMT necessary.

Responsibilities

• Performs quality nuclear medicine procedures and follows physician's orders.
• Maintains competencies, participates in equipment Q.C., and documentation.
• Practices radiation safety and participates in department initiatives.

Skills

Licensure/certification/registration: NMTCB, TDSHS, and BLS by AHA or ARC.

At least 1 year of experience preferred.

Background as (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer.

Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Shift: Monday - Friday 07:30 - 16:00. Call coverage shared with other technologists from 16:00 - 07:00 Monday - Friday and 24-hour call on Saturday and Sunday.

Job Summary: Performs quality nuclear medicine procedures, follows physician's orders, practices quality patient care, delivers excellent customer service, participates in call/holiday coverage, maintains competencies, current knowledge, participates in equipment Q.C., completes all records and documentation, practices radiation safety, and participates in department initiatives.

Qualifications

• Licensure/certification/registration: NMTCB, TDSHS, and BLS by AHA or ARC.
• Not eligible for new graduates.
• Preferred at least 1 year of experience.
• Background as (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer.
• Associate Degree.
• (CNMT) Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist or (NMT) Nuclear Medicine Technologist.

No travel required.
