Job summary

Medical City Denton is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. You will perform quality Nuclear Medicine procedures, follow physician orders, and deliver excellent patient care while supporting call coverage.

The role requires an Associate Degree with CNMT/NMT certification and active licensure. The schedule is Monday–Friday with on-call responsibilities; travel is not required. We value safety, teamwork, and compassionate care for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Executes quality Nuclear Medicine procedures under physician orders.
• Maintains patient safety and records with proper documentation.
• Participates in department quality control and call/holiday coverage.

Responsibilities

• Performs Nuclear Medicine procedures following orders and safety protocols.
• Maintains competency and current knowledge of procedures.
• Participates in equipment QC and documentation.

Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Shift: Monday - Friday 0730 - 1600

Call will be shared with other technologists starting at 1600 -0700 Monday - Friday and 24 hour call on Saturday and Sunday.

This position is not eligible for new grads at this time.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Performs quality Nuclear Medicine procedures, follows physician’s orders, practices quality patient care, exercise excellent customer service, participates in call/holiday coverage, maintains competencies and current knowledge of procedures, participates in equipment Q.C., completes all records and documentation, practices radiation safety, involved in department initiatives.

What Qualifications You Will Need

• Licensure/certification/registration: NMTCB, TDSHS, and BLS by AHA or ARC.
• 1 year of experience required
• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer
• Associate Degree
• (CNMT) Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist, or (NMT) Nuclear Medicine Technologist
