Job summary

Medical City Denton, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform quality Nuclear Medicine procedures and maintain patient care standards. The role includes call/holiday coverage and strict adherence to radiation safety and documentation protocols.

Applicants should have NMTCB/TDSHS licensure, an Associate Degree, and CNMT/NMT certification. Experience is required; no new grads eligibility at this time.

Qualifications

• Licensure/certification/registration: NMTCB, TDSHS, and BLS by AHA or ARC.
• 1 year of experience required.
• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer.
• Associate Degree.
• (CNMT) Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist, or (NMT) Nuclear Medicine Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Performs quality Nuclear Medicine procedures following physician orders and ensures patient care quality.
• Maintains radiation safety and department documentation; participates in call/holiday coverage.
• Keeps current knowledge of procedures and participates in QC of equipment.

Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Shift: Monday - Friday 0730 - 1600

Call will be shared with other technologists starting at 1600 -0700 Monday - Friday and 24 hour call on Saturday and Sunday.

This position is not eligible for new grads at this time.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs quality Nuclear Medicine procedures, follows physician’s orders, practices quality patient care, exercise excellent customer service, participates in call/holiday coverage, maintains competencies and current knowledge of procedures, participates in equipment Q.C., completes all records and documentation, practices radiation safety, involved in department initiatives.

What qualifications you will need:

• Licensure/certification/registration: NMTCB, TDSHS, and BLS by AHA or ARC.
